Acceptance of Service

By accessing or using PolySpeak services, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

You must be 18 years of age or older
You must provide a valid email address
You are responsible for the accuracy of your account information
You must keep your password secure
You are responsible for all activities on your account

Usage License

We grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, and revocable license to use PolySpeak services.

Permitted Uses:

Conduct personal or business video conferences
Use real-time translation features
Record meetings (with permission)
API integration (on paid plans)
Use services within legal and ethical boundaries

Prohibited Uses

The following uses are strictly prohibited and may result in account termination:

Use for illegal activities
Spam, phishing, or distribution of harmful content
Unauthorized access to others' accounts
Compromising the security of the service
Reverse engineering or hacking systems
Hate speech, harassment, or bullying
Copyright infringement
Abuse with bots or automated systems
Violating other users' privacy
Selling or transferring accounts

WARNING: In case of prohibited uses, your account may be suspended or permanently closed without warning.

Content and Copyright

Your Content:

You retain all rights to content you upload or create on the platform (meeting recordings, chat messages, etc.). However, you grant us the following rights:

Right to process your content to provide the service
Right to store for backup and security purposes
Right to use for legal compliance
Right to perform anonymous analysis for service improvement

Our Content:

The PolySpeak platform, including logo, brand, code, and documentation, is our intellectual property and is protected by copyright.

Privacy and Security

Your privacy is important to us. For detailed information on how we collect, use, and protect your data, please review our Privacy Policy.

Disclaimer

PolySpeak services are provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE". We do not guarantee the following:

The service will be uninterrupted or error-free
Translation accuracy will be 100%
Compatibility across all devices
Third-party integrations will function
There will be no data loss

IMPORTANT: To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or punitive damages.

Payment and Subscription

Paid Plans:

Pricing is specified on the plans page
Payments are made monthly or annually
Auto-renewal is enabled by default
Cancellation is effective for the next billing period
Pro-rata refunds for unused time

Refund Policy:

We offer a full refund if you're not satisfied within the first 14 days. Email support@polyspeak.io to request a refund.

Account Suspension and Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account in the following cases:

Violation of Terms of Service
Illegal activities
Payment issues (for paid plans)
Security threats
Extended inactivity (12+ months)

Your Rights: You can delete your account at any time from Settings → Account → Delete Account. Deletion is completed within 30 days.

Changes to Terms

We may update these terms of service from time to time. Significant changes will be:

Notified via email
Announced on the platform
Shared 30 days before taking effect
The latest version published on this page

Continued use of the service after changes indicates your acceptance of the new terms.

Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California. Disputes will be:

First attempted to be resolved through negotiation
If negotiation fails, mediation is recommended
As a last resort, lawsuits may be filed in San Francisco courts
Class action waiver (individual lawsuit right is preserved)
